Coping With Lockdown

People are dealing with lockdown in all different ways.

Some people are working from home and other than not having the daily commute
and not having the office banter, things are relatively normal.


Other people are furloughed and not working but being paid 80% of their wages. They
are working through their list of jobs, ie painting garden fences, jet washing drives etc..


There are also the key workers who are working more hours in some cases to keep our
health service, shops, and essential services going.


The pupils and teachers are no longer in school but are still trying to learn.
Some parents are trying to work from home and still support their children with their learning.

However you are dealing with lockdown, please remember there are always people
out there for you to talk to. If you feel the need to talk to someone, please pick up the
phone. Everyone is struggling with different things during this time.

No one has all the answers to our questions, not even the government and their
professional advisors. They are adapting on a day to day basis to an ever evolving
situation.
During this time, please do not be afraid to ask for help. Please do not shy away from
asking how someone is. Be there and support each other.
